Bloodbelle is a film festival that encaptures two film directors: Sofia Coppola & Guillermo Del Toro. The film festival Bloodbelle draws inspiration from Sofia Coppola and Guillermo del Toro, using their distinct storytelling techniques to explore the unsettling nature of hyperfemininity. 

I designed an event branding system where I focused on close-ups of women applying lip gloss and mascara, creating a contrast between delicate beauty and eerie discomfort. Like Del Toro, I wanted to highlight the tension between the grotesque and the beautiful, while Coppola’s dreamy, isolating aesthetics influenced the film’s tone. Through this piece, I aimed to capture the feeling of being trapped within an idealized version of femininity—where softness and unease exist in fragile balance.
