Junonia
chocolate packaging

Junonia is a packaging redesign project based on the small-batch chocolate company Dick Taylor. Inspired by the brand’s roots in wooden boat building, I reimagined their identity through the lens of the Junonia sea shell—rare, beautiful, and handcrafted. I created a custom pattern and paired it with a elegant typeface to give the packaging a more modern, elegant feel while still honoring the brand’s artisanal values. Using Illustrator and InDesign, I designed and printed multiple color samples to achieve rich, standout tones that elevate the shelf presence and communicate quality through every detail.

Some notes from my professor, Mark Fox, explaining the best type of material to print on for this project on the back of the original packaging of the chocolate brand I was redesigning for his class.

These are some color swatches I had to do during my process to be able to achieve the tone of colors for each package I was making.
